Worksop Castle: eleventh century motte castle and twelfth century shell keep castle

Varied terrain, including paths, parkland, woodland and road. Includes steps, slight slopes and roadside grass verges. Dog Friendly.

Clumber Lake, woodlands, history, wildlife. Clear paths, bridleways and woodland tracks. Some uneven surfaces. Not suitable for dogs, livestock in fields.

This walk is dedicated to the men of Clumber who served and died in the Great War (1914–1918). Mostly clear paths through woodland and heathland, with some sections on roads. Slight to moderate gradients, uneven terrain.

Circular walk avoids areas of the park that may contain grazing livestock, so it's ideal for dog walking. Dog-friendly café, Central Bark. Generally good paths but may be muddy. For further details, please see Terrain section.
