Roman villa 200yds (180m) N of Acton Scott Hall

This short walk starts from Carding Mill Valley at the heart of the Long Mynd and takes you on a gentle stroll past the mill ponds and up the reservoir bank. This route is along a wide footpath. There are steps up the reservoir bank.

This walk is a great way to see some beautiful views and also to really get to the heart of 'those blue remembered hills', as mentioned in the poem by A E Housman. There are some steep slopes, steps and narrow paths along this route.
