Small bowl barrow 750m north east of Swan Lodge: part of a barrow cemetery on and around Salthouse Heath

A varied walk with stunning views across grazing marshes and taking in the high ground of Wiveton Down Nature Reserve, via the beautiful coastal villages of Blakeney and Cley next the Sea.

The Cley Heritage Walk is a 45 minute walk around Cley taking in many of the historical buildings, old pubs, brick walls and other features that help tell Cley’s historic story.

Varied paths with some steep slopes. Parts can be very wet underfoot, not suitable for buggies. Passes cliff edge and deep ponds.

This is a largely flat walk with some steps up to the elevated position on Friary Hills. The section through Blakeney Freshes may be wet and muddy during the winter months.

A circular walk along mostly flat ground. Trail follows the Norfolk Coast Path along a good surface on top of a grassy bank. Part of the walk is on a pavement alongside the coast road.
